Ubuntu and Internet TV

For Ubuntu, a lot of software can be found through what is called the “repositories”:  with a working Internet connection,  click on Add/ Remove applications,  then click on a item, and it will be installed. One of the pieces of software that is not installed by default, but that is just one click away is Miro: an Open Source Internet TV player. It allows you to download and watch videos from RSS feeds (including podcasts, video blogs, and BitTorrent feeds). Check it out!
